As you are well aware, on
Over the years, many parents and relatives have come dressed in costume as well. While we certainly do not discourage parents and relatives from celebrating, we would like to see everyone’s faces. In other words, we do not want anyone wearing face masks or anything which might conceal an individual’s identity. This is strictly for security reasons.
Also, we want to insure that all students come dressed in costumes that are appropriate for an elementary school. We do not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. In that same vain, I am reminding everyone that weapons of any kind are prohibited from school grounds and therefore should not be part of any costume.
We want everyone to enjoy the Halloween tradition in a safe and secure environment. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
