All students are required to read for at least an hour per week over the summer. They also need to read either two short books per week, or choose some short chapter books to read which may take a few weeks each, as long as they are reading for at least an hour per week. Since students are at various reading levels, a selection of books at different levels has been included. The books may be from this list or be books of your own choosing. If you also choose to do the summer reading challenge see additional requirements on page 1.
