Maplewood School has one of the most prominent Russian language programs in the area.  Students in grades 1-8 receive Russian instruction.  Under the direction of Mrs. Einstein,  Maplewood students have excelled in Russian essay and speech competitions.  Also, Maplewood enjoys a relationship with Gymnasium I, our sister school in Tula, Russia.  Keep reading to learn more about Russian instruction at Maplewood.

Maplewood Russian Students Perform 

At High Level Once Again

    We are proud to announce the results of the 2006 National Russian Essay Contest.  1,524 students participated nationwide - 20 of them were ours.  The students had two hours to write a 150-200 word essay on life in America.
